Hi I left an enquiry yesterday regarding insurance recommendation.
Have just insured my RM6 Runabout with this company Bikesure.co.uk
My policy through Trinity Lane Insurance Company Limited, came to £41.73 fully comp no mileage restrictions spare parts insured to £500 and cover at rally's etc.
Hope this is of use to members.

Phoned Peter James Insurance today, no dramas, 8 bikes to be insured from 1st July, all for the minimum free of £86.14. (2 as per last year and 6 different) only 4 will require an MOT. Challenge is to get all 8 on the road this year, (only 4 got used last insurance year).

My values are agreed at what I think I would get for them if I sold them. I will look at the values again this year as they may need updating.

how much oil goes in the tank for 5 litres of petrol on a 1965 rm6 Im running mine on 30:1, the manual says 16:1 but i am told that with the new synthetic oils you don't need so much. Use this link to work out ratio of oil to petrol. www.haniel.co.uk/fuelmixcalc.htmlIf i'm wrong someone please put me right.

I am with Peter James. Renewal was 88.98 but I added two bikes at renewal making 11 bikes altogether. One of the new ones (guzzi 65cc) was a bit higher in value an tipped me over their max value threshold so I had to pay an extra £15. Still fantastic value. It is free to add bikes at renewal. Avoiding admin fees if they are added during the year.

yep that is cheap but how much do you have to spend on other items throughout the year to get a policy that cheap?

Is that for one bike or is it a multi bike policy? Many of us have several bikes either to ride or just in storage (waiting). Horses for courses perhaps.

No other spend to get the rate and its just a single bike policy. I use topcashback.co.uk for buying most things like car ,bike and house insurance and even clothes. I got £120 cash back on my internet package as well. Worth a look
